Diseases

Trees, as living beings that they are, may get sick from time to time throughout their lives. From the germination of the seed, pathogenic fungi, such as Phytophthora or Pythium, will do everything possible to harm them. In fact, it is often said that the probability of them surviving the first year of life is very low, but from the second and especially the third they increase considerably.

So, what are the ones that these plants can have? What symptoms do they cause and what is their treatment? It is important to know how to identify them., since although there are several that produce similar symptoms and/or damage, the causes of their appearance are not always the same.

Furthermore, as you gain experience in the care and maintenance of trees, you realize that diseases usually appear when you make a mistake in their cultivation. For example, by having watered too much, or by planting it in a very compact soil that does not allow the roots to breathe normally.

Therefore, we want you to know all the diseases that can affect trees, and what measures are the most effective to combat them.
